Breckenridge ski resort colorado or Breck is one of the most popular skiing destinations in the United States, particularly for the British tourists. It is located in Summit County near the town of Breckenridge in Colorado. The city of Denver is to the east of Breckenridge. Fascinating skiing runs of Méribel
Méribel ski resort is located in Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps near the town of Moutiers. Méribel mainly refers to three adjacent villages in the Les Allues commune of the Savoie département of France called Méribel Centre, Méribel-Mottaret and Méribel Village.
Méribel hosted the events of Ice Hockey and Women’s Downhill in the 1992 Winter Olympics.
Méribel has Courchevel to the east and Les Menuires and Val Thorens to the west. Mottaret, on the other hand, is a few hundred metres above from Méribel. The ski resort is part of the Trois Vallées ski area.
It is one of the most popular destinations of the British skiers and snowboarders. Strict regulation on concrete building in Méribel has helped it to retain its traditional Alpine looks and ambience.

Skiing at the magnificent La Thuile
La Thuile ski resort at Aosta Valley of the Alps Mountains in north-western Italy near the country’s border with France is a blend of tradition and modernity. The resort, which has developed from small hamlets in the Aosta Valley, currently features large and modern complex. La Thuile shares an international ski resort with the French resort of La Rosière (one of the only two Italian ski resorts having such feature).

The magnificent terrain of Fernie ski resort
Fernie ski resort is one of the world’s best known ski resorts featuring ‘steep and deep’ terrain. The ski resort, located very close to the town of Fernie in the southeastern British Columbia in western Canada. The town is situated in the Lizard Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Fernie is known for its high rate of annual snowfall (the highest in any resort in the Canadian Rockies) of around 875 centimetres and also for the powder skiing.
Fernie ski resort was called by the name of ‘Fernie Snow Valley’ till 1997 when it was sold to Resort of the Canadian Rockies (RCR).

Mammoth Mountain ski resort
Mammoth Mountain ski resort (Mammoth in short) is located at Inyo National Forest lying to the east of Sierra Nevada mountain range in eastern California in the United States. Yosemite National Park is located to the west of Mammoth ski area. Mammoth is particularly a top skiing destination for residents of Southern California. Steamboat ski resort is located on Mount Werner in Park Range in Routt National Forest in Colorado in the United States. The big ski resort (2,965 acres in area), which is operated by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, was opened in January, 1963. Intrawest, a noted Canadian resort management company, owns Steamboat ski resort. Earlier, it was owned by the American Skiing Company. Marvellous Winter Park ski resort
Winter Park ski resort located in Grand County in Colorado in the Rocky Mountains in western USA. The resort is just an hour and a half’s drive from Denver in Colorado. Winter Park is the nearest city to the ski resort. The top elevationof the ski resort is 3,680 metres while skiable area is 11.18 square kilometres. This resort has a history of being a laid-back spot although it has undergone a big makeover in recent times (Intrawest has played key role behind its development) with new lifts and an entirely new resort village at its base. There is a traditional resort base alongside the new resort village known by the name of Fraser, which gives a real ski town feel. Park City is located in the Wasatch Mountains of the state of Utah in the United States and is located very near to the state’s capital, Salt Lake City. Park City ski resort is a fabulous place covered with light snow and punctuated by woodlands. The main street at Park City, which ascends to the mountain, is crowded with restaurants, bars and shops although it gets quieter downtown and most of the accommodation facilities are located around here.
