The 2002 Winter Olympics games were held at the Salt Lake Area. The composition of snow here is perfect and seems to be made for skiing and snowboarding. The abundance of sunny days here is another excellent reason to visit Utah’s numerous ski resorts.

Snowbird is one of the best resorts in Utah. It has excellent facilities on offer for skiers, It has classes for beginners and families. The pricing is a bit on the high side but the good all inclusive amenities make up for it. The lodging is also good quality, as are the shops here.

Brian Head resort is an excellent choice if you happen to be here with children. The ski resort is unique in the way that there is a whole mountain that is set aside for kids and beginners. The Navajo Mountain is situated close to the instruction center at the resort. It is possible to enjoy the best in terms of facilities.

Park City Mountain Resort is a famous resort in Utah. The ski resort offers a range of classes for beginners. There are some excellent offers available.

Wolf Mountain is one of the best options if you are a beginner on a budget. There are a good number of excellent teaching slopes and great packages offered for families.

If you are more of the adventurous type, there are some excellent opportunities to face challenges at the large Ford Built Tough Terrain Park, the Rail Park and the Savage Half Pipe.

Wisp Ski Resort also has on offer nine lane tubing park that has rope twos known as the Bear Claw Snow Tubing Park. This is a location suitable for everyone, just get on board the tube and set off on the crazy ride. The snow tube park has an excellent snowmaking and grooming facility as well. There are other activities suited for families such as snow mobile trips through the pine forests and sleigh rides.

Yet another exciting option at Wisp Ski Resort is the Wisp Resort Nordic Center. The center has fifty kilo meters of trails that have variable difficulties. The whole day can be spent snowshoeing or skiing across the country. There are lessons and tours available to beginners in the sports, both for children and adults.

After a hard days skiing, you can relax at the full spa at Wisp Resort. The Sewickly Spa has on offer relaxing treatments such as massages and facials. Mountain

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gets a decent 459 inches of snowfall on average in the year. There is in total two thousand five hundred miles of inbound terrain here and one hundred and sixteen trails in total. Jackson Hole has a huge number of ski territories for all difficulty levels.

The mountains boast of a 4 139 vertical elevation, which is the longest continuous climb in any resort in the United States. The longest trail here is about one and a half miles in length.

Terrain Parks
