Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is a beautiful medium-sized ski and snowboarding area in Lake Tahoe region in northern Placer County near Norden in California in the United States. Along with Squaw Valley and Northstar, Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is among the major ski resorts on the northern shore of Lake Tahoe. The ski resort, one of the most environment-friendly, is located along Doner Pass of Sierra Nevada mountain range, about 74 km west of Reno in Nevada. Sugar Bowl was founded by none other than the famous Walt Disney and it is one of the oldest resorts at Lake Tahoe and the oldest chair-lift served resort in California. Northstar Ski resort is a charming resort located near North Shore of Lake Tahoe in Placer County in the state of California in the United States. The resort, which covers part of extinct volcano Mt Pluto, is spread over an area of 3,000 acres and features a cross country centre, new village at Northstar and on-site lodging facilities. Kirkwood, which had about 96 people during the 2000 census, is located within Eldorado National Forest. Hidden Valley Ski Resort At Laurel Highlands

Hidden Valley ski resort is located in Laurel Highlands in southwestern Pennsylvania in the United States. The ownership of Hidden Valley shifted from the Kettler family to Buncher Company in 2007. The latter, subsequently upgraded the resort, adding state-of-the-art snowguns and new groomers in the process. Devil Head ski resort is a fantastic glacial ski resort located at Merrimac in South Central Wisconsin in the United States. Devil Head, a favourite skiing resort for the Midwestern snowboarders and skiers, is located close to cities like Baraboo and Chicago.
