Mountain high ski resort is the most popular winter resort in southern California in the US. The picturesque resort features three distinctly different mountains and a wide variety of lifts and trails.While the East Resort runs for 1.6 miles up into the mountains offering cruising trails and powder runs in the region, the West Resort features a mountain loaded with terrain and wide-open beginner areas. Besides, Mountain High North lies across from Mountain High’s West Resort. Each base area at Mountain High ski resort has ticket windows, restaurants, rentals, sport shops, ski and snowboard lessons and many other similar features. Wrightwood is the nearest city.
Ever since its ownership changed in 1997, Mountain High Resort made big improvements on the hill. The authorities imported the second high-speed quad, started non-traditional terrain parks, more snowmaking and grooming equipment, rental facilities and equipment besides introducing flexible and cheaper adult tickets.
The top elevation at Mountain High is 8,200 feet while the trailhead elevation is 6,600 feet. The skiing trails at Mountain High ski resort are meant for skiers of all levels (25 percent for the beginners, 35 percent for intermediates and 40 percent for the advanced). Mountain High ski resort has 290 acres of terrain, 60 trails and a vertical drop of 1,600 feet. The resort enjoys average snowfall of about 144 inches and is equipped with 95% of snowmaking capacities.

The skiing season at Mountain High extends from early November to late April.

- Lift Tickets:
The resort has flexible ticketing system based on hour or by the run. Tickets are available on all seven days a week at all three mountains, excluding the North Pole Tubing Park. - Flex Ticket is available in any 4 or 8-Hour block of time. The use of the Flex Ticket begins only when you take your first lift.
- Point Ticket are sold in blocks of 200, 500 or 1,000 points, and they help you to choose the number of runs you wish to take per day.

Mountain High resort is located 75 miles north of Los Angeles and Orange County - From Los Angeles:
Take Interstate 10, 60 Freeway or the new 210 Freeway East to Interstate 15 North. Exit Highway 138 West and take left on Highway 2. Travelling to Mountain High takes just about 90 minutes from Los Angeles. - From San Fernando and Antelope Valleys:
Take Interstate 5 to Highway 14 North from San Fernando Valley. Exit Pearblossom Highway 138 East and take right on Largo Vista. Driving time from Highway 14 and Highway 138 junction is just 45 minutes. - From San Diego:
Take Interstate 15 North and exit Highway 138 West and make a left on Highway 2. Travel time from downtown San Diego is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
