Jasper is a beautiful skiing area in Marmott Basin in the Rockies in Alberta in western Canada.  Marmott Basin is located in Jasper National Park (10, 878 square kilometres) and about 19 km from Jasper town.

Jasper National Park is the largest and the northernmost national park located in the Canadian Rockies. It has been designated as the Canada Rocky Mountain Park World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Getting to Jasper:

• By air:
  Edmonton (360 km) and Calgary (400 km) are the nearest airports to Jasper. Yellowhead Highway from Edmonton or the mountain drive from Vancouver connect Jasper.
• By rail:
  Jasper is connected to Prince George and Prince Rupert through Skeena train service.

Getting around:

The resort can be easily covered by foot. A ski shuttle service operates daily from the hotels to ski slopes and the tickets can be procured from the hotel itself. Shuttle service also links Jasper with Banff.
