Excellent Alpine skiing at Kranjska Gora
Kranjska Gora in Slovenia is one of the best Alpine skiing resorts in Europe. It is a town located in northwestern Slovenia in Sava Dolinka Valley that separates the Karavanke mountain range from the Julian Alps. Kranjska Gora is indeed very close to the country’s border with Italy and Austria. Ljubljana, the national capital, is 90 km southwest from Kranjska Gora. The resort elevation is 803 metres while the top elevation is 1,291 metres.
The skiing runs of Kranjska Gora are located on the eastern slopes of Mt Vitranc (1,631 metres) while cross-country skiing trails lead westwards to the Planica hill, which plays host to Ski Jumping World Championships each March, in Tamar Valley.

Whitetail Ski Resort is a ski resort located on Two Top Mountain in Tuscarora Mountain ranges of Pennsylvania in the United States. Opened in 1992, the resort was later acquired by Snow Time Inc. Fernie ski resort is one of the world’s best known ski resorts featuring ‘steep and deep’ terrain. The ski resort, located very close to the town of Fernie in the southeastern British Columbia in western Canada. The town is situated in the Lizard Range of the Rocky Mountains.
